Aceclofenac Paracetamol Serratiopeptidase

Aceclofenac, Paracetamol and Serratiopeptidase Tablets – ACCLOR-P for Pain and Inflammation

Aceclofenac – Aceclofenac a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) is used to relief pain and inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. Aceclofenac should not be given to people with porphyria or breast-feeding mothers and is not recommended for children. It should be avoided near term in a pregnant woman because of the risk of having a patent ductus arteriosus in the neonate.

Paracetamol – Paracetamol is a medication used to treat pain and fever. It is typically used for mild to moderate pain relief. There is mixed evidence for its use to relieve fever in children. It is often sold in combination with other medications, such as in many cold medications. Paracetamol is also used for severe pain, such as cancer pain and pain after surgery, in combination with opioid pain medication. It is typically used either by mouth or rectally but is also available by injection into a vein. Effects last between 2 to 4 hours.

Serratiopeptidase – Serratiopeptidase is a proteolytic enzyme isolated from bacteria found in silkworms that has been used for reducing inflammation. It has antiedemic, analgesic, fibrinolytic and caesinolytic properties. Serratiopeptidase also known as Serrapeptase is most commonly used for reducing inflammation — your body’s response to injury. Serratiopeptidase is often used in oral surgery for its anti-inflammatory purpose after impaction surgery, maxillofacial trauma, and infections but its use should be limited in cases of abscess due to its fibrinolytic activity. It is also used for painful conditions including back pain, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, carpel tunnel syndrome, migraine headache, and tension headache.

MECHANISM OF ACTION:  Acclor-SP tablets, a combination of aceclofenac, paracetamol and serratiopeptidase is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory painkiller. Aceclofenac works by blocking the action of cyclo-oxygenase which relieves pain and inflammation in arthritic conditions. Paracetamol enhances the analgesia of aceclofenac. Serratiopeptidase enhances antibiotic penetration and increases micro-circulation.
