Levodin with Levocetirizine Hydrochloride Antiallergic Tablet

Levocetirizine HydrochlorideLevocetirizine is an antihistamine used for the treatment of allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and long term hives of unclear cause. Levocetirizine is used for allergy symptoms including watery eyes, runny nose, sneezing, hives, and itching.  It works by blocking a certain natural substance (histamine) that your body makes during an allergic reaction. Levocetirizine has a greater affinity for the histamine H1 receptor than cetirizine. Levocetirizine is a very effective and potent medication to treat year-round allergic symptoms associated with rhinitis and utricaria.

MECHANISM OF ACTION: Levodin tablet contains Levocetirizine Hydrochloride is an antihistamine that acts as an inverse agonist that decreases activity at histamine H1 receptors. This in turn prevents the release of other allergy chemicals and increases the blood supply to the area, and provides relief from the typical symptoms of hay fever.
