Mechanism of Action

Ivermectin works by binding selectively to glutamate-gated chloride ion channels in parasites, leading to paralysis and death of the worms. Albendazole acts by inhibiting microtubule synthesis and glucose uptake in parasitic worms, resulting in energy depletion and elimination of the parasites. Together, they provide synergistic and broad-spectrum anti-helminthic action.
