TAMSULOSIN HCL 0.4 mg + DUTASTERIDE 0.5 mg.
This combination of Tamsulosin Hydrochloride 0.4 mg and Dutasteride 0.5 mg is used in the management of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), commonly known as an enlarged prostate. Tamsulosin is an alpha-1 adrenergic blocker that relaxes the smooth muscles of the prostate and bladder neck, improving urine flow. Dutasteride is a 5-alpha reductase inhibitor that reduces prostate size by lowering dihydrotestosterone (DHT) levels, providing long-term symptom control and disease management.
