Mechanism of Action
Luliconazole is a potent imidazole antifungal agent that works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of the fungal cell membrane. This disrupts fungal cell membrane integrity, leading to inhibition of fungal growth and elimination of infection-causing fungi.
Indications
Indicated for the treatment of fungal skin infections such as:
- Tinea corporis (Ringworm)
- Tinea cruris (Jock itch)
- Tinea pedis (Athlete’s foot)
- Cutaneous candidiasis
- Other superficial fungal infections as advised by the physician
