Mechanism of Action

Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, the chemical mediators responsible for pain and inflammation. Paracetamol acts centrally to reduce fever and relieve pain by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system. Together, they provide synergistic analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory effects.
