Mechanism of Action

Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, thereby reducing the production of prostaglandins responsible for pain and inflammation.

Paracetamol acts centrally to reduce fever and relieve mild to moderate pain by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system. Together, the combination provides enhanced analgesic and antipyretic effects.
